How to reach us
Email hello@fiordlandtours.com. We answer in English, usually within two working days.
We are a booking guide, not a tour operator, so we cannot change, cancel or refund a booking. That goes to the operator through the site you booked on, whose contact details are on your confirmation. If you cannot find them, write to us and we will point you to the right place.
If your tour was cancelled or you missed it
A refund or a new date is the operator's to give. Your confirmation email carries their contact and your booking reference, which is the fastest route. Most tours listed here refund in full if you cancel at least 24 hours before the start; the Doubtful Sound overnight needs 14 days' notice, and the Fiordland Jewel overnight is non-refundable.
Weather is the usual cause. A scenic flight cancelled for weather is rebooked or refunded, and the Milford Road can close for snow or avalanche risk. If you missed a pickup, give the time and the place you waited when you write to the operator.
Corrections
If a fact here is wrong or out of date, tell us what and where. Meeting points move, fares change and parking charges rise, and the fastest fix is usually a reader who has just been. Every page carries the date it was last checked.

Where the official information is
Fiordland National Park Visitor Centre, Te Anau
Te Rua-o-te-moko, the Department of Conservation's visitor centre, is operating from a temporary home at 26 Town Centre, Te Anau 9600, until October 2026, while its lakefront building is refurbished. It opens Monday to Saturday from 9am to 12pm and 1pm to 4pm and is closed on Sundays. Phone +64 3 249 7924, or email fiordlandvc@doc.govt.nz, for track and road conditions.
Road conditions
The Milford Road, State Highway 94, can close for snow, ice or avalanche risk, mostly from May to November. Check before you drive, and carry chains in winter; they can be hired in Te Anau.
The visitor levy
Immigration New Zealand collects the NZ$100 International Visitor Conservation and Tourism Levy with the visa or NZeTA; questions about it go to them, not to the park.
